Exhibition Services Marketplace & Operations Platform
Overview
This project involved designing and developing a multilingual marketplace platform for companies participating in exhibitions across Iran.
Beyond serving as a business directory, the platform was designed to create a transparent marketplace where exhibitors could discover, compare, and eventually manage the services required for participating in exhibitions. It combined business profiles, exhibition information, service discovery, and operational management within a single ecosystem while providing a scalable foundation for future marketplace growth.
The Problem
Companies participating in exhibitions often relied on fragmented channels to find service providers, compare offerings, and coordinate the activities required before and during an event.
The absence of a centralized platform made it difficult for exhibitors to discover reliable vendors, while service providers had limited opportunities to present their capabilities to potential customers. As a result, planning exhibition participation remained heavily dependent on personal networks and disconnected communication channels.
The project aimed to establish a unified marketplace where exhibitors and service providers could discover each other, manage their presence, and gradually move exhibition-related workflows into a single digital platform.

- Delivering distinct desktop and mobile user experiences through a shared frontend architecture while minimizing code duplication.
My Contributions
- Led product analysis and platform design based on the client's vision.
- Designed the platform's information architecture, business workflows, and relational data model.
- Led product planning and technical design while coordinating backend implementation throughout the project.
Technical Highlights
Relational Marketplace Data Model: Designed a relational data model that connected exhibitors, service providers, exhibitions, and service offerings through a unified structure, providing a scalable foundation for future marketplace capabilities.
Shared Cross-Device Frontend Architecture: Implemented a shared frontend architecture that supported distinct desktop and mobile user experiences while minimizing code duplication and maintaining a consistent business logic.
Architecture Beyond Implementation: The project reinforced the importance of evaluating deployment environments, operational costs, and infrastructure constraints as architectural requirements alongside technical considerations, influencing architectural decisions in subsequent projects.
