Professional Digital Identity & Networking Platform

Overview

This project involved developing one of Iran's early professional networking and digital identity platforms for individuals and organizations.

Beyond enabling users to create online profiles, the platform established a trusted digital presence where professionals and businesses could build searchable identities, expand their visibility, and strengthen professional connections. It combined professional profiles, organization pages, social networking features, and business-oriented applications into a unified ecosystem centered around digital identity.

The Problem

Professionals and businesses lacked a trusted digital identity that could represent who they were beyond a simple personal website or contact page.

The vision behind the project was to create a platform where every professional and organization could establish a verified online presence that also served as a living digital business card. As the platform evolved, additional capabilities such as content publishing, tagging, professional discovery, and organization profiles were introduced to make those identities easier to discover, connect, and grow.

The project aimed to establish a unified ecosystem where digital identity became the foundation for professional networking, business visibility, and future identity-driven services.

Engineering Challenges

  • Designing a controlled profile customization system that balanced user personalization with a consistent and maintainable public profile structure.
  • Building Google AMP versions of public profiles under strict JavaScript and rendering constraints without duplicating the platform's content logic.
  • Modeling an identity system where a single user could create, own, and manage multiple professional or organizational profiles with different roles and permissions.

My Contributions

  • Designed and implemented reusable frontend components shared across multiple product modules.
  • Built SEO-oriented public profile pages using a hybrid server-rendered and client-rendered approach.
  • Developed Google AMP pages to improve mobile search visibility and loading performance.
  • Developed the hybrid mobile application using Apache Cordova from the shared web codebase.
  • Implemented a real-time feed update mechanism that notified users of newly available content without continuously reloading the timeline.

Technical Highlights

  • Hybrid Rendering Strategy: Combined server-rendered public profiles with client-side interactions to balance search engine visibility and a responsive user experience.

  • Google AMP Integration: Delivered AMP versions of public profile pages while maintaining a shared content model under AMP's rendering constraints.

  • Identity-Centric Profile Architecture: Built a frontend architecture capable of representing both individuals and organizations through a consistent, role-aware profile model.

  • Reusable Frontend Architecture: Established reusable components and shared UI patterns that supported the platform's continuous expansion across multiple product modules.
